Summer busy for Whitewater

It’s summer but things are very busy at Whitewater Ski Resort.

Marketing manager Rebeckah Hornung says they’ve been working on a lengthy to-do list.

The lower level of the original daylodge, built by volunteers in 1976, is getting an overhaul.

The new skier services lodge is next to the daylodge.

Another new building will accommodate guest services on the parking lot side of the lodge.

They’re also putting in the new Summit chairlift and expanding lodge space at the base of the Glory chair.

On top of that, Hornung says there are also changes near the base of the Glory chair.

Whitewater has sold its Fresh Tracks food truck and will provide an expanded lodge space with seating for up to 50 people.
