Ten wildfires have started in the West Kootenay-Boundary since Wednesday.
The biggest is covering 20 hectares near fife creek north of Faquier.
That one is believed to have been human-caused.
Crews are still battling the wildfire along Highway 33 which was caused by a motor vehicle accident.
That’s at one hectare.
There’s a lightning caused fire burning at 0.1 hectare at West Kokanee Creek between Nelson and Balfour.
Crews are also battling a 0.009 hectare blaze north of Castlegar at Robson Ridge as well a 0.009 hectare fire at Blizzard Mountain southeast of Trail.
The rest are scattered east of Lower Arrow Lake and there’s two burning to the north and northeast of Yahk.
