Kaslo group hoping for pocket park grant.

The village of Kaslo is hoping to create a new green space in time for their 125th birthday next year.

Deb Borsos is on the Public Art Committee who’ve been working on the small pocket park.

The village wants something on the land where the old fire hall used to be.

The committee has submitted a grant application to the federal government .

If successful, the funds would cover half the cost of erecting stone pillars, wrought iron fencing, plinths for art and a brick pathway.
