Remembering Danny Rickaby’s business legacy

The son of a well known Nelson business leader is hoping the community will respond to a fundraising idea.

Danny Rickaby, who owned the New Adventure Hotel and other businesses, died suddenly in January.

His family is raising money for what’s being called the Downtown Dan Business Bursary.

Chase Rickaby says the aim is to help anyone with a business start-up or financial help with a business education.

Chase says many people don’t realise how many other businesses his dad helped.
