BC’s new minister of advanced education was in Nelson this week touring Selkirk College’s campuses.
Melanie Mark says it’s part of a larger tour of 25 public post-secondary institutions.
Mark says recurring themes are affordability and student housing.
During her visit she toured the Silver King campus which is undergoing a $19-million overhaul, plus Kootenay Studio Arts.
