An event that challenges you to build a boat out of cardboard and duct tape is returning to Nelson.
It’s a fundraiser for the local kayak and canoe club and takes place Labour Day at Lakeside Park.
Organizer Heather Potkins says last year’s inaugural event went well.
But Potkins so nobody made it back to shore without sinking.
Registration is at 12:45 p.m. and then you have an hour to build your ship using the materials provided. Racing starts at 2:15.
