IODE comes through for portable ultrasound

Nelson’s IODE has donated $7,500 towards the purchase of a portable ultrasound.

It will help Dr. Nic Sparrow, who responds on his own time to car accidents and other emergencies.

IODE treasurer Linda Lussier says they were eager to help him.

Lussier says Sparrow was very grateful for the donation.

The IODE runs a thrift shop in Nelson and donates the proceeds to various charities.
