Nelson gets good response on Laneway Housing

The City of Nelson received a lot of feedback during its public consultation on laneway housing with 270 survey responses.

Alex Thumm with Development Services says there was consensus on some topics like having pre-approved design concepts and increasing the allowable square footage.

But some answers varied, for example on parking.

The results were presented to City Council this week before staff come back with concrete recommendations on March 5.
