Stetski pushing for return of Fisheries and Oceans office

Having a Department of Fisheries and Oceans office back in the Kootenays is still an important issue for a local MP.

Kootenay-Columbia’s Wayne Stetski asked the Liberal government if it would be restored earlier this week.

He didn’t get a direct answer from Parliamentary Secretary Yvonne Jones.

Stetski says he feels more confident the government is hearing him.
