Cannabis co-op looks to buy Georama Growers

The Kootenay Outdoor Producer Co-op has found a location for their cannabis growing business. Todd Veri, president of the Co-op, says they have a conditional offer in on Georama Growers in the Blewett area, and are now looking to raise funds for the purchase.

Veri says having a central facility means they can grow transplants over the winter to move outside in spring. Veri says finding a central facility was the big missing puzzle piece for them.

He says they’re hoping to create an outdoor organic cannabis growing industry in the Kootenays comparable to the Okanagan’s wine industry.
