City hosts open house on possible cannabis regulations

The City of Nelson hosted a open house yesterday that included some different options for cannabis regulations. Residents could offer further feedback about how many dispensaries there should be and where public consumption should be allowed. Alex Thumm with Development Services says the feedback is helpful as they look to present Bylaws next month.

Thumm says only about 40 people stopped by.

Thumm says they’re still happy with the community’s involvement as there was a 32 per cent response rate on the survey that went to households and businesses earlier this year.
