Riondel Water System under Stage 3 conservation measures

Stage three water conservation measures are in effect for the Riondel Water System. The Regional District of Central Kootenay says high water demand has resulted in low reservoir levels.

That means watering lawns is prohibited.

Gardens, shrubs, trees and new lawns can be watered only between 6:00am and 10:00am and 8:00pm and 10:00pm. Using a watering can or hand held hose is allowed anytime, except on lawns.

This will remain in effect until further notice. Click here for more details.
