Nelson’s Hunt Scores 1st NHL Goal

Nelson’s Dryden Hunt had a night to remember – scoring his first NHL goal in Florida’s 6-1 mauling of the Detroit Red Wings.

The undrafted winger was signed by the Panthers just over three years ago to a three year entry level contract.

He was the 2nd Panthers rookie to net their first NHL goal last night, following teammate Josh Brown:

Hunt now has 1 goal and 5 points in 22 games with Florida this season.
