Kootenay Pass closure 4:00-5:30 PM PST

The Kootenay Pass will be closed between 4:00 PM PST and 5:30 PM PST.

Avalanche control activity is planned between West Avalanche Gate and East Avalanche Gate. The alternate route is via Highway 3A and the  Kootenay Lake Ferry.  Estimated travel time is 2.5 hours.
