Acclaimed Ski Mountaineer Greg Hill to Speak in Nelson

The Nelson Adventure Speaker Series is pleased to announce that acclaimed ski mountaineer, guide, and environmental activist Greg Hill will be visiting Nelson to promote his new book, I Could Die At Any Moment, a gripping narrative of his life’s most daring adventures and the profound lessons he learned along the way.

Greg will speak on Friday, October 25, at 7pm at the Nelson United Church, located at 602 Silica Street. Doors will open at 6:30pm.

Tickets are $10 each and available online at Eventbrite.com: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/an-evening-with-greg-hill-tickets-1048326140707

Tickets will also be available at the door. But seating will be limited to 100 people.

Greg is best known for his world record-setting endurance feats, including skiing more than two million vertical feet in a single year, and also for making countless first descents in the remote ranges near his home in Revelstoke, as well as in South America, Norway, and Pakistan.

His memoir ‘I Could Die At Any Moment’ was released earlier in October. In it, Greg shares the untold stories behind his greatest triumphs and close calls, offering a raw and unflinching look at the mental and emotional toll of living life on the edge. His story is a testament to the power of perseverance, passion, and survival in the face of danger.

During his Nelson appearance, Greg will present photos and share anecdotes from I Could Die At Any Moment. Books will be on sale for $25, and Greg will sign them immediately following his presentation.
