Nelson police have made an arrest of an intoxicated young man carrying knives.
Midnight Saturday they were called to the downtown and police noticed a partially concealed knife on him.
The suspect was told to place it on the ground.
He then produced two knives and followed the instructions but refused to back away from the weapons.
The 19 year old was ultimately arrested without incident.
