Rossland Chamber of Commerce folds

The Rossland Chamber of Commerce has dissolved after nearly 120 years of serving business and community in the Alpine City.

The decision was made folllowing a meeting last week that discussed a possible merger with the Trail and District Chamber of Commerce.

City councillor Marten Kruysse (pictured) is the liaison with the Rossland chamber.

Kruysse says it’s a good opportunity for a much stronger Chamber of Commerce in Greater Trail.

The Trail chamber will now ask its members to support the merger.
