Castlegar bike skills park ready to break ground

Work could soon start on Castlegar’s bike skills park.

City council received an update this week on the attraction that will sit next to Millennium Park.

Castlegar Friends of Parks and Trails design and construction co-ordinator Adam Pomeroy says they’ve recently had the designer out for a second visit as he’s conducting detailed work on phase one.

Pomeroy says equipment will be brought in as soon as possible and they could break ground in the next couple of weeks.

Construction could start next month.
