Silverton hotel to reopen…minus some stuff

The owner of Silverton’s historic inn is hoping to reopen following a five-year closure.

But first he’d like the return of a large number of items looted from the building over the last six months.

Maurice Palmer hopes someone knows where it all went.

Among the items that went missing: compressors, air conditioners, mirrors, photos, and an old hockey jersey.

The hotel was built in 1897 and Palmer has owned it since 2006.
