Time for GF water meter compromise:Chamber Chair

After months of turmoil in Grand Forks over water meters a more moderate voice in the community figures it’s time for a compromise.

Alan Cooper a local resident and Chair of the Boundary Regional Chamber of Commerce believes the majority are in favour of having meters but an opt-out clause being pondered by council next week might be a solution.

Councillor Julia Butler – who faces conflict of interest and breach of office claims over meters – figures there will ultimately be no Supreme Court hearing against her and she will be looking for a full apology.
