Renewed momentum for Trail Skate Park

The Friends of the Trail Skate Park are ecstatic the City has chosen an All Wheel Park as the focus for new federal funding.

This from the group’s Patrick Audet after City Council decided they will try to secure half of the cost for the estimated 700 thousand dollar facility from the recently announced Canada 150 Community Infrastructure program.

Audet says it seems Council is really starting to get behind the All Wheel park.

Audet adds he isn’t concerned with the City postponing a planned community survey to gauge residents’ support for an all wheel park.
