Castlegar Chamber Awards winners

The Castlegar Chamber of Commerce has presented its annual business excellence awards.

There were ten categories in all including a new one – The Lifetime Achievement Award.

That went to Neil and Darlene Kalawsky.

Among the other winners the Business Person of the Year Award was a tie with Rauni Naud of Sunlife and Brian Bogle of Safeway sharing the honours.

Business Excellence Award went to Lion’s Head Smokehouse and Brew Pub.

Customer Service Excellence winner was Crumbs Bakery and the Green Award went to Communities in Bloom.

Castlegar Hospice Society won for the Community Social Award, Endless Adventures grabbed the Young Entrepreneur Award, and ADM Electric was Contractor of the Year.

Back in Balance claimed the Professional Service Award.

Sculpture Walk won for Tourism Development
