Trail Armoury gets big funding for upgrades

Upgrades to the Canadian Armed Forces Kemball Armoury in Trail will benefit the entire region.

This from Chief Warrant Officer Sharman Thomas with the 39 Combat Engineer Regiment following the $ 1 million federal funding announcement this week.

The money will go towards upgrading infrastructure in the 70 year old building.

Thomas says improvements will include the replacement of windows and doors, upgrades to washrooms, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and fire safety systems.

There will also be work to the exterior of the building.
