Armed robberies:Nelson police set to release bike image

Some visuals will be released very soon from Nelson police as they investigate last Friday’s armed robbery – the latest in a string of incidents.

Detective Constable Nate Holt says they have pretty good CCTV footage of the suspect who robbed the currency exchange and left on a bicycle.

He says they’ll release a picture of the bike in the next day or so as they try to establish if the suspect is riding to an awaiting vehicle.

Holt says Nelson police are working full time on this case with RCMP and are analyzing footage of the suspect before considering whether to release it to the public.
