Carbon Neutral Kootenays wrapping up

The Carbon Neutral Kootenays project is nearing an end after 5 years.

Spokesperson Patricia Dehnel has given an overview of all 31 local governments and says Castlegar was definitely a leader.

 

Castlegar gave a $25 rebate to each of the 91 homes that signed up for the assessment part of the local Energy Diet.

Only Kaslo and New Denver will reach carbon neutrality by purchasing offsets for the Darkwoods Project.
