Grand Forks to get on with road re-surfacing

Grand Forks needs to get on with urgent repairs to some of their city streets and can’t wait any longer for federal and provincial funding.

So says mayor Brian Taylor with repeated delays in getting vital infrastructure money from the senior levels of government.

Taylor says re-surfacing can be done relatively cheaply even if the underground infrastructure has to wait.

He says they’re looking for public feedback on the most important priorities other than 22nd and 68th streets.
