Juvenile White Sturgeon viewing event

The people behind the Upper Columbia White Sturgeon Recovery Initiative are taking the ancient creature on the road on Monday.

There will be viewing opportunities for the ten month old juvenile fish in Trail Monday morning then Castlegar Monday afternoon.

Angus Glass with the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program.

So you can get up close and personal with some of the creatures which will be released into the river at Waneta Plaza from 10 till 11 and then at the Castlegar Complex from 2 till 3.
