Restoration project underway in Darkwoods

A restoration project in the Darkwoods Conservation Area.

The Nature Conservancy Of Canada has just begun work to rehabilitate a former millsite near the shore of Kootenay Lake.

Adrian Leslie is the Darkwoods Manager with the conservancy group.

The group has also captured images of the hard-to-reach area through google trekker.

This will allow for a virtual tour of darkwoods to be viewed online in the coming months.
