Robson Fire recognized as up and coming department

The Robson Fire Department has been recognized as one of two Up and Coming Departments in British Columbia and the Yukon.

The group – along with Salmon Arm – were celebrated as part of the 2013 Awards of Excellence following the national fundraising campaign to support Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Robson Chief Keith Watson:

The Robson Department – which has 19 members – raised over $6200 through their Boot Drive.

In total 120 fire departments from B.C and the Yukon raised over $650,000 last year.
