West Kootenay flag football season arrives

West Kootenay Flag Football ramps up starting this weekend but needs more players.

League president Bruce Lamont says anyone can join.

The first game kicks off at 11 a.m. Sunday at Sunningdale Park with the Castlegar Spartans versus the Trail Colonials.

And at 2 p.m. Sunday it’s the Castlegar Vikings versus the Dam Inn Mates at Mount Sentinel school in South Slocan.
