Search for missing Slocan Lake woman

A local woman has gone missing prompting an extensive hunt in the Slocan Valley.

RCMP Sgt Darryl Little says they’re looking for Andrea Moore -also known as Andromeda Moore – who is from Slocan Lake.

She hasn’t been seen since Wednesday.

Moore is described as 5-foot, 100 lbs, with short blond hair, and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a purple sweatshirt with the word “love” printed on it several times, and purple sweat pants.
