Search manager talks positive missing person outcome

Not much information is being offered, but a fortunate outcome to that missing person situation in the Slocan Valley late last week.

The 36 year old – who hadn’t been seen since Wednesday – turned up in a disoriented state at a house some 4 kilometres from where her abandoned vehicle was found on Perry Ridge Road.

But Search Manager Barb Ihlen says the woman had the presence to seek help.

Much of the search Friday had focused on the Little Slocan Forest Service Road area but crews had seen no clues by the time she knocked on the homeowner’s door.
