Partners working together on plan for Civic Arena walls

There’s collaboration among partners to find a feasible way of decorating Nelson’s Civic Arena walls but some questions still need to be answered.

Guttering will be needed to protect any exterior art work and they need clarity on the future of the vacant land next to the Civic.
A mixed-media design featuring some painting and possibly metal work is being contemplated after Council rejected a recent funding application for a painted mural.
