BC teachers expected to serve strike notice

B.C teachers are expected to serve notice on Thursday that will seem them move to a full scale strike Tuesday.
The Move would make Friday the last day of the school year for students.
The B.C. Teachers Federation told its more than 40,000 members in an email Wednesday night that the union planned to serve 72-hour strike notice Thursday.
This after 86% teachers who cast a ballot this week voted in favour of escalating their job action.
Meanwhile one day rotating strikes still affect districts in our region this week.
Schools in Kootenay Columbia will be closed Thursday.
And those in the Boundary and Kootenay Lake Districts will not be open Friday.
