Nelson's opening Art Walk of summer

The 26th edition of Nelson’s famed Art Walk hits the downtown streets this evening courtesy of the Nelson and District Arts Council.


And Executive Director Neil Harrower says they’re spreading things out.


Vernon Street is also included. The 400 block of Baker St will be closed off for some performers and the NDAC marketing table.

Harrower says the organisation is planning four events in the coming eight weeks.

They hope to impress locals as well as US and other foreign tourists who come to town this time of year.
