Kootenay Lake Partnership Open House

The Kootenay Lake Partnership hosts a public Open House Thursday evening.
The group will update residents on their study efforts so far as they work towards a Lake Management Plan.
The Ktunaxa Nation Council in cooperation with the Lower Kootenay Indian Band will next look at cultural values and use.
Partnership Chair and Coordinator Ryan Van Der Marel says that will be another part of a comprehensive picture.
An ecological inventory and archaeological study have already been done.
Thursday’s open house goes at the Nelson Chamber of Commerce at 7pm.
