Nelson wins Firefighter Games

The 2014 Fire Fighters Games in Robson over the weekend put the “fun” in fundraising.

This from Nelson Fire Department Chief Simon Grypma whose crew bested 13 other departments from as far away as Sparwood to win the two day event.

Grypma says it was great to see so many people come out and support a friendly competition for a great cause.


All proceeds go to Muscular Dystrophy – the charity of choice for fire departments across Canada.

The total amount raised is still being calculated.
