New Rural Advisory Council for BC: local reaction

A local regional politician says she “loves” the news that the government has announced a Rural Advisory Council for BC will be formed.

RDKB chair Grace McGregor is also the chair of the steering committee on the Rural BC Project.


McGregor says with rural BC contributing nearly 70% to the provincial coffers it’s very important an advisory council tells Victoria what our priorities are.

The council will be selected by year’s end.
