Trail Library to target full membership for referendum

It’s a no brainer…the 3,000 card holders for the Trail and District library want a new facility.

This from Library board Chair Barbara Gibson who says they will be phoning each one of the holders leading up to the November referendum to tell them to vote in favor of the city borrowing $5.7 million dollars to build the combined library museum.

Gibson says they could increase membership with a more accessible facility.

Gibson says the Library and Historical Society will continue educating the public of the benefits of a new facility.

There will be an open house Wednesday at the Aquatic Centre from 4 pm till 7 pm to answer questions.
