A long-serving Castlegar city worker is running for council.
Bruno Tassone went from labourer to foreman with the Parks and Roads Dept and figures he’ll bring key knowledge to the job.
He’s campaigning on more transparency with the public and the need to be more responsible with taxpayer spending.
Tassone is taking a leave of absence from his city job to run for council and will retire in December.
