Locally raised skier releases movie first

A professional skier from Rossland is bringing a movie to the area that showcases only women.
Alpine City native Leah Evans is involved in “Pretty Faces” a film she calls the first of its kind.

Evans claims professional skiing is “not” a boy’s club and men are very encouraging to all up and comers.

The film – that was produced by Lynsey Dyer –  will be shown 7 pm tonight at Rossland’s Miner’s Hall and 7 pm Tuesday at Nelson’s Capitol Theatre.

Evans runs a camp called Girls Do Ski.
