Civic Theatre brings in fundraising expert

The Nelson Civic Theatre Society has hired an Executive Director to lead them on their fundraising campaign towards a triple screen facility.

Eleanor Stacey – who is originally from the Queen City- brings more than 15 years of professional experience as a fundraiser, program developer, arts administrator, and consultant in the non-profit cultural sector.

Society President Marilyn Mint says they’ve been talking to Stacey since she returned to the city about ways she could get involved with them.

Stacey has worked in such places as New York, Vancouver and Central America.
