As normal the city of Castlegar has introduced special measures ahead of Halloween.
All three parks are now closed. They will re-open tomorrow at 7am.
Citizens On Patrol will have a heightened presence.
The RCMP is reminding everyone that deliberately defying the city’s park closure order will result in a $50 fine. Also roadblocks will be set up around the city tonight.
And there are strict by-laws related to fireworks. You must be over 19 to use them and they can only be set off on private property.
