New Trail council will decide on chambers upgrade

Any approval of changes to Trail’s council chambers will come from a new mayor and set of Councillors.

The current council deferred phase four and five of planned improvements to the 2015 budget.

CAO David Perehudoff says City Hall is 80 plus years old and they are working to modernize it.

A proposal has been put forward that shows a major face lift to the chamber’s look but also includes over $140,000 worth of electrical and video technology work.
