Crews were set to bring down more rock and debris Friday afternoon still overhanging a section of Highway 6 in the Slocan Valley.
That’s after Thursday’s slide about 8km north of Slocan.
The Ministry’s Darrel Gunn says no motorists were hit when the slide occurred mid afternoon.
The road closure Friday afternoon was expected to last for only twenty minutes.
