Ski shuttle boost for local tourism

Enhanced service from the Spokane Airport Shuttle will benefit our entire region.

This from Dianna Ducs with Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism which has teamed up with Whitewater Ski resort and Tourism Rossland to subsidize the operation of the vehicle seven days a week through the winter.

Kootenay Lake Tourism and Tourism Rossland are using funding from a 2% accommodation tax while Whitewater is paying out of pocket to improve the service.

The price of the shuttle to or from Spokane has also been reduced to $125 dollars one way or $99 for a return trip.
