New Trail council has a lot on their plate:outgoing mayor

The Silver City’s outgoing council is dumping a lot on the plate of the politicians coming in.

So says mayor Dieter Bogs who will be replaced by Mike Martin at the end of the month.

Bogs says he is confident the four new people and three returning councillors will carry forward all the mandates approved by the public.

Bogs adds he is also excited to see what new ideas come from city council over the next term.

A strategic planning meeting has already been scheduled early next year for the incoming council to discuss all the initiatives on the table.
