KIJHL weekend wrap up

Beaver Valley Nitehawks remain undefeated in pre-Season, finishing it off with a 4-1 and 6-2 victory over Spokane Braves.

In Saturday’s game, Boris Hristov scored a hat trick to give him 9 PTS in 5 games

Meanwhile, Castlegar Rebels finished their pre-season with a couple of tough losses to the Grand Forks Border Bruins, going down 5-2 on Friday and a 6-0 shutout on Saturday.

Bo Stevens finished as the Rebels top scorer in the exhibition games.

The Nelson Leafs split their games against Creston over the weekend, beating the Thunder Cats 4-2 on the road and then seeing the Valley roar back and win 5-4 in a shootout in Nelson.

Quinn Ramsey finishes as the Leafs leader in points with eight.

The regular season in the KIJHL will start this Friday, September 20.
