UPDATED:Missing skier near Whitewater

A back country skier has been missing in the vicinity of Whitewater near Nelson for two days.

RCMP say 47 year old Edward Perello went skiing alone at 8 am Monday. He was reported missing late Tuesday.

But S/Sgt Leanne Tuchscherer says they’ve been told the experienced skier is in good shape.

Anyone who may have seen Perello should contact RCMP.
