Rash of vehicle crime around Kaslo

Kaslo RCMP are reminding the community about the need to keep your homes and vehicles locked.

This after a rash of thefts reported Monday.

Two vehicles were stolen from Rainbow Drive in Kaslo – a red Mercedes diesel wagon and a red and silver Dodge Dakota pickup. The culprits would have required a battery or a boost to start these vehicles as they were stored for the winter.

And a red and silver Ford F350 was stolen from Highway 31 Meadow Creek.

Also over the weekend police say two vehicles were rummaged through and tools stolen.
